Yard work!

I have been living in my house for a little over a month now and I decided that it was time to work on my yard. Why didn't anyone warn me of how much hard work this is?? And why didn't anyone warn me about getting a huge yard?? Oh, it is very tiring and a headache especially for someone who has never had to work in their own lawn. Why did I think that I could cut my entire lawn all by myself?? I gave up after half of the front yard was done. I guess I'm not super woman after all lol Men really do come in handy lol. But I did enjoy planting bushes and plants. Still not done yet though. I'll post pics if I can remember

Undecided

Once again I am undecided on what I want to do with my degree. Health care management is so broad that there are so many opportunities and fields to go into. I guess that I have decided to start in the hospital and if I'm not interested then try something else. There are so many different things that I can do with the degree, I do not want to limit myself to one job. That is unless I'm extremely happy with my position and pay ( yes, pay matters to me). I'm definitely going to get my master's because there are so many more opportunities with a master's. Are there any more health care management majors in this class? What do you plan to do with your degree?

The Weather

Over the last couple of days we have had some very crazy weather. I don't know if the weather was terrible for anyone else, but on Sunday the storms hit hard. I just so happened to lose power right in the middle of cooking. Great timing right. Well good thing the lights were not out for very long, but there were plenty of trees down on my street. I also lost part of my fence. It was a little chilly this morning. Hopefully, the sun comes out and it warms up because I definitely didn't dress warm, I have on sandals lol. I just cant wait for the steady warm mornings and nights.

Sketchy

Since this is my first blog, I really don't know what to blog about...? Well I guess since it's a blog for class we're supposed to blog about class. Or maybe this beautiful weather. Hopefully since these are our first blogs we will get a break lol. I guess I'm waiting to see what others post to get a good feel for what we blog about. I would talk about my media kit but that would ruin the fun for class, so I guess I can blog about how different this class has been from my others. I heard plenty of people in class talk about how they have done things similar in other classes, but I haven't done anything like this. I guess it depends on the major, but this class is very interesting especially for those who are starting their own businesses, promoting fund raisers etc. It really makes you open your eyes to the things that happen in the media that we see everyday.
