Sketchy
Since this is my first blog, I really don't know what to blog about...? Well I guess since it's a blog for class we're supposed to blog about class. Or maybe this beautiful weather. Hopefully since these are our first blogs we will get a break lol. I guess I'm waiting to see what others post to get a good feel for what we blog about. I would talk about my media kit but that would ruin the fun for class, so I guess I can blog about how different this class has been from my others. I heard plenty of people in class talk about how they have done things similar in other classes, but I haven't done anything like this. I guess it depends on the major, but this class is very interesting especially for those who are starting their own businesses, promoting fund raisers etc. It really makes you open your eyes to the things that happen in the media that we see everyday.

I agree that what we're learning in this class is very interesting. While doing some research for the backgrounder of my media kit, I discovered that "family-owned business" doesn't really mean anything. The "family-owned business" I chose to profile is owned and operated by someone who also owns several fitness clubs. Now I realize that "family-owned business" doesn't mean it's a mom and pop shop. Mom and Pop could be millionaires.
ReplyDeleteI've learned something new about mom and pop shops. I also think the blog project is interesting.

ReplyDeleteBlog about anything that moves you...have fun with it!!! I've got some off the wall items planned for future installements of my blog...but then as Sarah said, I'm a sassy one and I like to bend the rules and challenge authority
let it rip

Tory, believe it or not, what you just blogged is a good start. What are your interests; make up, fashion, the weather? Just blog what comes to mind or brainstorm before blogging so you focus on a particular subject. Have fun!
ReplyDeleteI have never blogged before either! I felt a little bit scared when so many people in the class seemed comfortable with it. At least I know I am not alone. Just write about some funny stuff please. I love to laugh.
ReplyDeleteLike some of you, I've also never blogged before yet I find it strangely therapeutic to be able to just write about what I want without any perimeters. I didn't think that I would enjoy it as much as I do and I am finding that it's very addictive.
ReplyDeleteI also have found that it is therapeutic to blog. No correct grammer sentencing etc. and you are free to talk about whatever you like
