The Weather
Over the last couple of days we have had some very crazy weather. I don't know if the weather was terrible for anyone else, but on Sunday the storms hit hard. I just so happened to lose power right in the middle of cooking. Great timing right. Well good thing the lights were not out for very long, but there were plenty of trees down on my street. I also lost part of my fence. It was a little chilly this morning. Hopefully, the sun comes out and it warms up because I definitely didn't dress warm, I have on sandals lol. I just cant wait for the steady warm mornings and nights.

I agree! I am so ready for the summer weather to get here and actually stick around. I want sunshine, sunshine and more sunshine... I am ready to spend my weekends at the pool - studying of course... And what do you know - they are predicting rain for this holiday weekend.... Boo! :(
ReplyDeleteGirl Yes..My lights went out and didbt come back on til monday at like 7am!! Not to mention all those dang trees and branches...I hate thunderstorms but ill be happy with some good 70-80 degree weather
ReplyDeleteWelcome to the Midwest! It seems every year were surprised by the constant changes in weather; from one minute to the next. I can't recall it being this bi-polar when I was growing up, but then again I probably never paid attention to weather until my adult years :)
ReplyDeleteThe yucky weather really doesn't bother me so much since I usually take it as a opportunity to stay home and take care of things that I would otherwise put off doing like the laundry, cleaning the house and doing homework. I also know that once it gets consistently hot, I will be wishing for the cooler, wet weather (minus the humidity)so I say,let it rain!
ReplyDeleteYou do know this is KC Metro right? Hang around for a whole week and you get everything from blizzards to floods to 90 degrees. At least when I lived in Vegas I knew it would simply be hot and dry!
ReplyDeleteI love the two season's we no longer get and that's spring and fall. We seem to only get winter and summer. I just hope this summer is not a repeat of last years summer!

K.C. has the worst weather at times, it's always unpredictable. I am ready for warm not to hot mornings and nights.
